Model Obsession

I might be a little late on the band wagon, but I’ve found my new model crush: Barbara Palvin. I’ve literally seen her all over Pinterest, Tumblr, and other fashion sites, but had no idea who she was until I came across her name a couple of days ago! I can’t get over her eyes and her eyebrows- I’m so insanely jealous. I have blue eyes and very thin eyebrows, so of course I want what I can’t have. And that porcelain skin. is. flawless. Considering she’s younger than me…and an international model…if given the chance i would totally take a couple of days in her shoes. Totally.

Tumblr might just be…

…my new Pinterest. I know, I know, it’s blasphemy. But for real, I’m lovin me some Tumblr. All the blogs I follow just post pictures that make me feel good inside, like I’m on the beach, with a puppy, sipping on some Chick-fil-a lemonade…ahhh. Check out mine here!

New England Style

Most of the time, I thank God that I was born and raised in the South. There’s really nothing like it in the whole world. But if I hadn’t grown up here, I wish I could have grown up in the Northeast. You know, New England. Full of sailing on sailboats a la the Kennedy’s, wearing nautical stripes, hanging out at light houses (you know, the only things that New Englanders do). Oh yeah, and look ADORABLE all the time. Like these people. Oh my God I love them.

By the way, the girl who is in all the photos is named Sarah Vickers and her boyfriend is the one in the green shorts, Kiel James Patrick. They both work for his New England style company. Check it out here. Everything is legit beautiful in every single way. Also visit her personal style blog here!

The High Beams

Future home wish list item numero uno: ceilings with high beams. Realistically is that number one? No. It’s more like indoor plumbing and ridiculously good air conditioning (I live in the south, y’all. It’s necessary). I just think they make a room look so much bigger and home-y. Even if you live in a city, the beams make a home feel like it’s out in the country, like a little slice of home with a glass of lemonade. Do y’all like these high beams? I’m in love!

How cool is this room? Besides the beams…that’s a boat on the ceiling!

Flower Lovin’

As you might be able to tell from the name of this site, I love flowers. I can’t grow them, per se, but I think having a vase of flowers in every room can add a bit of brightness to a home. That’s why one of my favorite parts of wedding photos is the flower arrangements. They’re always so beautiful! I think that by the time I walk down the isle I’ll know every single flower and color to go into my bouquet AND in my future house! Obviously you know what my favorites are…

What do y’all think? Are there any favorites that you like to have in your house? What about in a wedding?

Home Hoping

I’ve been dealing with a bit of drama trying to figure out my housing situation for next semester. When dreaming of college in high school I never even considered that where I would live would be anything close to a problem, or any kind o stress inducer. So when I go to Pinterest I’m in dream land, just daydreaming of the day I can settle down and decorate and be happy.

Simple Portraits

I’m really digging some of these portraits I found when going through my Pinterest. They’re really simple, though obviously some have more styling than others. It just lets the person shine through instead of the surroundings or the outfit. Which is neat.

Obvs I had to include one of Morgan Freeman- my third grandpa
