I’m really digging some of these portraits I found when going through my Pinterest. They’re really simple, though obviously some have more styling than others. It just lets the person shine through instead of the surroundings or the outfit. Which is neat.
Obvs I had to include one of Morgan Freeman- my third grandpa
If you haven’t noticed the lady to the right of this post that looks so casually amazing, that’s one of the most beautiful ladies (in my opinion, at least) that ever walked the earth. Bridget Bardot, or Bridge, as I like like to think I would have referred to her had we been BFFs, was obviously admired by the men for her hot bod and propensity for generally looking sexy, but some of my favorite pictures of her are when she’s fully clothed, looking completely natural. Yeah, she probs bleached the life out of her hair, but look at her in these pictures. She’s beautiful without being overtly sexy or suggestive. It looks so easy to look that good. If only, if only…
Last night I think I went a little bit insane. I love the Oscars. And the stars. And their gorgeous gowns…except Angelina. Couldn’t get over her. BUT other than that, I loved the Oscars! I won’t share any of the winners in case some of y’all haven’t seen it, but it was mostly as expected. And now I have to go see The Artist, because as expected, it did win quite a few awards.
Who were y’all’s favorite dressed? I couldn’t get over how beautiful some of the gowns were!
“Triple Spanx” is definitely not all to credit here. Octavia looked AMAZING.
She might have looked a little too princess-y for my taste, but if my dad (who was watching with us) takes time to say she looked classy, that means something, y’all.
These photos aren’t great of the dress, but trust me when I say it was beautiful! I saw a red carpet interview with her and couldn’t get over how great she looks!
The Ridiculously Ugly:
Even though all I know about this girl is that she was at the latest Marchesa show and she’s George Clooney’s recent lady friend, I expected more out of her…because she went to the Marchesa show. I legit think she picked out the ugliest dress at the show.
No, it doesn’t look that bad in the picture, but in person (and considering the near nip slip), I just don’t like it.
Does this woman freak out anyone else? Just me?
The ones I can’t decide on:
Really? Polka dots to the Oscars? Hmm…
I have undying love for Viola, but her boobs were about to pop out of her dress the whole time. That color green is really pretty on her though!
And one photoshopped picture for fun…Angie. Because she was literally sticking out her left leg like that the whole night.
Oh, Gossip Girl how you slay me. I’m like a season behind from everyone else (so no spoilers, please!), so of course I see the occasional commercial for the newest season. While I’m dying to find out what happens with Blair (apparently she is getting married?!) or Chuck…or Dan, Nate, Vanessa, Jenny, and most of all, Serena, it’s mostly the hoards of gowns, blazers, coats, and accessories that have me swooning. I guess it’s just another day in the life of New York’s finest, right?
What are some of y’all’s favorite Serena looks? I’m posting a few of mine, but of course it’s damn near impossible to actually find pictures or name them all.

I’ve loved Marchesa ever since I saw Jessica Alba’s Oscar gown in 2008.
I haven’t, however, been a big fan of Taylor Momsen since she stopped looking/acting like the sweet Jenn Humphrey I had grown so accustomed to in 2007-2009.
And since she started doing things in public like this:
BUT I think my little beloved Jenny might be coming back just a little bit, because at the Marchesa fashion show last week Taylor showed up and looked gorgeous! I even took a picture with my phone…of the television because I thought her blue eyeshadow was so pretty!
No matter if you like the girl or not, you can’t deny…girlfriend looked awesome at the show. And so did that gorgeous black lace dress she was wearing. Marchesa can do no wrong.
PS- This is Taylor Momsen in Marchesa in 2008

I know that I’ve needed to think long and hard about this post because, to be honest, it’s hard to talk about celebrity style seriously. Although I can’t help my obsession with People Magazine and all major awards show red carpets, celebrities have stylists who basically put clothes in front of them and say, “I promise this will look good on you.” And it does.
But Emma Watson is someone I love seeing on the street. She’s so cool…but in an understated way. And she goes to college. Which is also cool. And obviously everyone knows this haircut makes her awesome too:
So, wanna see some of my faves?
Here we go
What looks are y’all’s favorites? Is there another celebrity/model that I should do a collage of? These are so inspiring!
