Hi y’all! Sorry I’ve been away for so long! I made a pretty big move after I got a new internship (yay!), and with that and various life events, this blog has suffered. For that, I’m sorry! But I’m back with a new post that I’m very passionate about- i.e. Jessica Stam’s new choice of hair color. I’ve always been a big Jessica fan, and like most models, she looks really good blonde. I’m not opposed to any hair color change. I like when people are adventurous with their hair. Just because I can’t dramatically dye my hair blonde or red doesn’t mean that no one else can…but Jessica has made a mistake, me thinks. I miss the blonde! Bring it back please, Jess! PS- love you!
What do y’all think? Good change? Bad change? Discuss.

I might be a little late on the band wagon, but I’ve found my new model crush: Barbara Palvin. I’ve literally seen her all over Pinterest, Tumblr, and other fashion sites, but had no idea who she was until I came across her name a couple of days ago! I can’t get over her eyes and her eyebrows- I’m so insanely jealous. I have blue eyes and very thin eyebrows, so of course I want what I can’t have. And that porcelain skin. is. flawless. Considering she’s younger than me…and an international model…if given the chance i would totally take a couple of days in her shoes. Totally.
If you haven’t noticed the lady to the right of this post that looks so casually amazing, that’s one of the most beautiful ladies (in my opinion, at least) that ever walked the earth. Bridget Bardot, or Bridge, as I like like to think I would have referred to her had we been BFFs, was obviously admired by the men for her hot bod and propensity for generally looking sexy, but some of my favorite pictures of her are when she’s fully clothed, looking completely natural. Yeah, she probs bleached the life out of her hair, but look at her in these pictures. She’s beautiful without being overtly sexy or suggestive. It looks so easy to look that good. If only, if only…
Meryl Streep has always been one of my favorite actresses, pretty much since I fell in love with her in Adaptation (which is one of her smaller films, but everyone should see it). Not only is she an amazing actress in so many different kinds of movies, she seems so smart and so normal. And of course I’m beyond jealous of her beautiful hair in all of these photos!
Here’s Meryl: proving you don’t have to look like Bridgette Bardot (however much I love her), Britney Spears, or Kate Moss to be drop dead gorgeous.
And here are Meryl’s triplets, her daughters Mamie, Gracie, and Louisa Gummer:
I love the idea of a woman having a signature scent- that one perfume that she always reaches for. My mom bought me my first bottle of perfume when I was 14 during a back to school shopping trip at ULTA. I remember meticulously smelling every single perfume (which may or may not have damaged a few brain cells), trying to find something light and floral and fresh enough. Musky and deep do not fit me. I eventually chose J’adore by Dior, and I still love it. I don’t wear perfume often, but I always feel fancier and prettier when I put on just a spray of it.
I just bought my second scent a few weeks ago. I’ve liked Happy by Clinique for a while, but I never got around to buying it until now. I got the roller ball version and it works great! I keep in it my car or in my purse for a quick roll on the wrist on the way to class or to run errands. I never have to worry about spraying too much on!
The next scent I’m wanting is Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue. It’s so light and fresh I feel like it would be perfect for everyday! Does anyone have Light Blue in their collection now? Love/hate it?
What perfumes do y’all have? I’ve always been weary about celebrities perfumes, but I’ve heard Jennifer Aniston’s is nice and not overpowering. And who could say no to these ads?
